Birthday Ketik Na

This was last month...almost forgotten to post the pictures here....

Celebrated Ketik Na's birthday in Pekan....

The ever garang birthday girl....i still can remember the first time seeing her in the premature ward---she was slightly longer than my palm...i was the only one permitted inside --that special ward is only for parents...but Mak Ndak was too weak so i went in after giving all sort of nonsense to the nurses..........coming out, everyone were asking , how? how ?how?...how big how small....and i told them "she's the size of botol kicap"---i really cant think of anything....

How the "grounded" play

I granted Along permission to play football by himslef within the lawn. The boys love football and since world cup started, the whole group of kids have been playing footie every evening at the nearby field. So when Along requested to play within the lawn, i just cant say no...ok as long as you stay within the lawn....

And he did.....the friends outside the gate and he within the lawn.....

we just let him played:-)

Pre-Disneyland Talk

This was once upon a morning, while having breakfast with Mat Dib....

Adib: mummy apa lagi yg ada yg ada kat Disneyland selain mickey mouse?~~~~~the truth is the boys are not so keen about Mickey Mouse---they are getting worried whenever i teased them that i am going to get them mickey t shirt for hari raya this year---and that's including Adib--not sure if Adib really means it like the older boys or just playing along :)
Mummy: many ...ada pluto, Donald
Adib: ok... ~~~~not so interested kind of ok
Mummy: Toys' story
Adib:ohhhhh ~~~~~with some interest kind of ohhhhh
Mummy: Cinderella, snow white , beauty and beast, sleeping beauty
Adib: apa tu????
Mummy: Adib betul tak tahu ke?


It has never occured to me that he doesnt have a clue about all the Disney princesses .
When Along were small, being keen with first baby...and all excited...we bought the whole set of Disney, had that read along session from time and time.................then Angah came along....ok, the reading session was less than frequent....but still at times certain nights, i tried to read one day a story kind of thing......then Adib....totally leave it to the older brothers.....sort of, so...he reads and watches whatever the older brothers having...and he has more Doraemon, Sikichan, Fukuchan etc etc.....
The conversation continued....


Adib:mummy, Upin dan Ipin ada?
Mummy:APA???? ~~~i was like half screaming~~~ apa pergi jauh jauh nak cari Upin dan Ipin...
Adib: ehhh ....Upin dan Ipin ada dalam Disney Channel.... ~~~dengan penuh semangat patriotik


Mummy: no..no..no tak ada upin dan ipin, tak ade Fukuchan , tak de Hakemaru, tak de Sikichan, tak de Inachan, tak de Bekom, ultraman semua tak de.....

(Adib is besides me while i am writing this, he told me: Mummy salah eja bukan Hakemaru tapi Hagemaru---his favourite cartoon...)
I told everyone during the weekend, and Along had done the honour to pass the whole Disney series to Adib, "nah baca ni before pergi Disneyland"

Adib: Along, Tarzan ada ehhhhh?? ~~~~dengan sangat excitednya

Along: ada

Adib: Ohhhh....... ~~~now he's looking forward

Along is grounded!

Along did badly in the last exam...the worst in history....never occured in my mind that he could get that far behind....the one and only contributor is his own laziness....for not doing his homework and own revision.
for that he is grounded until the next exam, so for now, no football, no computer....just books and school and the piano and the treadmill...fullstop!.....but am not strict enough myself to forbid television as well....:(..

Almost everyday, I am checking with bibik and adib, whether or not Along follow the restrictions, and the one who always voluntarily answering my questions will be Angah...and I asked him,

Mummy: yang kau backing sangat Along ni kenapa?

Angah: dia kan abang Angah.....

Angah even made a suggestion to permit Along to play football during weekends....and it was plainly turned down!

"Along, ...please for your own good......do your homework+revision, pay attention in class....you know why you got an A for JAsmani ? because that is the only thing that you religiously do all year round...i.e. playing !! So same principles apply to other subjects, revision is all you need for an A.....or a better grades...."

KL visit in July 2010-Part 2

Went out for seafood that night with the whole family....again the only missing was Aunty Ann...we need to do catch up with Aunty Ann one of these days...

Uncle Boy arranged the booking for dinner at Restoren Muhibbah in Taman Tun. I was told that the restaurant is always a full house that reservation is highly recommended, but personally, the food was a far cry from what we have in Kuantan....

Hope everyone had a great time and a full stomach at the end though!

Peace no war!

KL visit in July 2010-Part 1

Was in KL last 2 weeks visiting the whole lot there....everybody was there except for Aunty Ann who was away for a telemovie's shooting in Perlis. Tok Bibah had quick wittedly to arrange a family photo sessioned for a hari raya magazine...so there we go hari raya in the middle of what Syaaban?

Abah had successfully and politely excused himself , as for me....I was scolded by aunty Darling "Jangan nak gatal!"....and we had an enjoyable time posing , and grinning endlessly....laughing outloud with Uncle Bell's common lawak jenaka.....he can be a real joker!

Tok Haji, Tok Bibah and our dear Mak Usu...

Mummy and the boys---i think this was the first time for the boys to see me being made-over as thicked as 3 inches, and they made a lot of comments especially Angah..."mummy macam hantu lah, lagi better tak make up macam tu"...i pitied the make-up artist!

The not-so-newly-wed but definitely the romantic lentok kind of couple....

Eden with his trademark grins....and the Baba with his signature songkok..

Uncle Boy and the team.....Dora had a new hair cut which i opposed 100 and 10%

Our big family..............semoga Allah merapat kami sekeluarga forever and ever....AMIN...

First picture at 9th week

Had my second check up last saturday, and there were Adib and Abah accompanied me...the older brothers had their piano lesson.

It was Adib's first time to listen to the heartbeat and viewed the monitor....he stood beside me silently watching. Then after we were done with the check up, i asked him--

Mummy: Adib nampak adik tadi?

Adib: Nampak....tapi pelik lah mummy....( still holding on to the print out)

I guessed he was expecting to see a real baby smiling at him:)
