UPSR

Finally UPSR is over...i just cant bring myself to write anything on UPSR before the exam, I was so worried. UPSR is a final exam for primary school and basically depending on the results - you may have options for the secondary school i.e. ability to choose- whether to go to a school next door, an A grade school, boarding school, mrsm etc..etc...

I understand that to learn or not to learn actually lies in oneself not the school, you can go to triple A school but if you just choose not to learn , you will be Z anyway when the rest obtains their As. However, considering the time that kid need to spend in school, I think it is essential to ensure conducive learning environment/surrounding, in terms of the facility, the circle of friends and besides, i see secondary school as the initial stepping stone to the education ladder.

So my dear Afi, my worries are only for you to get the best of what available and ensuring a good start for a long journey.....

Afi doing his final revision few days before UPSR...he insisted to do it on his bed...buat kerja 5 minute, lagi sekali tengok dah tidur...........

Conversation we had in the car after buying some food at the pasar ramadan...
Mummy: Afi, how do you feel as the exam is only tomorrow?
Afi: tak sabar...
Mummy: nape tak sabar???? dah ready ker??
Afi: entah ...tapi rase tercabar......
Mummy: kah..kah..kah..kah..

I am glad myself that the exam is over...tak daya tiap hari nak menjerit asking Along to do his revision....

Our another little talk...this was last night..:
Afi: Mummy, weekend ni kite buat sembahyang hajat
Mummy: nak sembahyang hajat ape lagi dah habis exam ni...
Afi:kertas tu belum periksa lagi, kite mintak dilembut kan hati pemeriksa atau dapat pemeriksa yg baik hati
Mummy: opps ...ok

Our dearest Along...my first son ...is going to secondary school next year....dah bujang!

how time really flies iye Liz.. still ingat time ko ngandung kat dia dulu..

In a way, I'm glad that mine will skip his UPSR insyallah. Ikram will be having his SAT here instead. but that means no boarding school for him.

I'm sure it was a pleasant experience and worth it.

SAT tu exam for primary school sama dgn UPSR. He'll be 11 this October. The exam will be in July. He's a year younger than Afi.
